This video (link below) is a good combination of history, drama, and a simple way to illustrate the on going struggle in the Israeli/Palestinian region. The video basically highlights centuries of people and cultures who have tried to claim the Holy Land, each for their own purposes and beliefs. From the Egyptians to the Israelites you can see them all bellowing the same tune, and willing to kill for their "right" to represent God's wills and wishes. This is particularly interesting because it shows how in today's world so many beliefs with seemingly similar interests (exemplified by them all singing the same song) still manage to get involved in so much conflict. It seems as though belief can warrant such outbursts of violence and move people to in some instances cease to view one another as fellow human beings.
